Editorial Policy & Medical Review Standards

How We Source Information

Our content is based on peer-reviewed clinical trials and systematic reviews indexed in PubMed and the Cochrane Library, society guidelines (DEGRO, ASTRO), long-term registry data, and patient-education resources from major academic radiation oncology programs.

Medical Review Process

Every clinical page is reviewed by a radiation oncology physician before publication and on a recurring schedule (at minimum annually, or sooner when new evidence is published). Our current medical reviewer is Robert Warren Floyd, M.D., Ph.D. (Radiation Oncology).

How We Keep Content Current

We monitor new publications in radiation oncology and rheumatology journals and update relevant pages when new trials or guidelines are published.
